Villa Ardore is proud to be an official patron for the RREC’S Celebration of 120 years of Rolls-Royce
On 4 May 2024, Rolls-Royce motor cars marked the 120th anniversary of the first meeting between Henry Royce and Charles Stewart Rolls. Ever since that auspicious day, the name Rolls-Royce has been synonymous with the best in luxury and motoring. It is only appropriate, then, that one of the oldest and most prestigious car clubs, the International Club for Rolls-Royce and Bentley Enthusiasts (RREC) has announced the launch of a collector’s book entitled “120 Years of Rolls-Royce, ‘Electrifying the Spirit of Ecstasy”, celebrating the landmark anniversary of the “world’s best car”. Produced in partnership with publisher St James’s House, the fully illustrated hardback publication features the writing of one of the automotive industry’s most experienced and respected motoring correspondents, Ray Massey of The Daily Mail.
To resonate with the book’s theme of industry excellence and sustainability, 120 Years of Rolls-Royce features a carefully curated selection of sophisticated brands that share the values of excellence, craftsmanship, and sustainability with Rolls-Royce, and we are delighted to announce that Villa Ardore and Scali Rasmussen are official patrons of this RREC celebration.
Christian Scali, founder and co-owner of Villa Ardore and co-founder of Scali Rasmussen, says, “Rolls Royce is world-known for its exclusivity and high touch customization, using only the finest quality materials while offering an exquisite blend of tradition and innovation and unfailing customer service. Those values resonate strongly with the hallmarks of Villa Ardore and Scali Rasmussen. Both were founded on the principles of providing only the highest quality services and maintaining the utmost attention to detail and exclusivity. Villa Ardore, in particular, was selected for being a protector of Italian heritage and history that harmoniously blends classic and contemporary, providing luxury comforts and giving a modern feel to a quintessential 16th-century Tuscan stone farmhouse and its surroundings. We continue to strive for perfection and innovation while celebrating tradition and the intangible value of human connection.”
Christian Scali continues, “It’s an honor to be part of this illustrious publication celebrating 120 years of Rolls-Royce—a legacy of luxury, innovation, and timeless elegance that continues to inspire generations worldwide.”
Richard Golbourne, Chief Business Director of the International Club for Rolls-Royce and Bentley Enthusiasts adds “RREC members appreciate Villa Adore, for fusing the intricate balance between the sheer aggressive beauty of the Tuscan hills, and the tranquil peace to be had whilst observing the sunset. Villa Ardore demonstrates an understanding of the discerning palate in every detail from exquisite decor to sumptuous dining.”
120 years of Rolls-Royce, ‘Electrifying the Spirit of Ecstasy’, is due to be launched at Grosvenor House in central London on 10 December 2024.
